About Goold Park
across from 1000 Union Street
Goold Park was purchased by the City of Morris in 1916 and sits on 22.82 acres of beautiful, wooded land. Located on Northern Avenue, Goold Park is utilized for festivals and community events throughout the year. The park features a large bandshell, public swimming pool with waterslides, two restroom buildings, playgrounds, lighted tennis court, lighted pickleball courts, walking trail, covered picnic shelters, barbeque grills, and parking lots. During the winter months, there is also an ice-skating rink that is open to the public and free of charge. There is no skate rental program currently.
