Welcome, from the
Mayor of Morris, Illinois

Living in Morris means small town living at its very best.  Our city offers its residents easy access to health care at Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers and outstanding education opportunities for our children in our local schools.

In addition, living in Morris also means a deep connection to our environment with our location along the Illinois River and the two state parks located within our city limits.  Our YMCA and city parks offer a wide array of recreational activities for citizens of every age.

Morris is also the ideal destination for fun, friends, shopping, and dining.  Our downtown and all its locally owned shops and restaurants provides everything you need for the perfect day trip.  It also offers the ideal backdrop for countless festivals and events throughout the year.

All of this brings us closer together as a community, and most importantly, as neighbors.  I like to say, visit us for a day, and you will want to stay for life!

Sincerely,
