Legal Notice for Public Meeting

The City of Morris has announced that a public meeting will be held in the Morris City Hall
Community Room on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 6:00 P.M. for the purpose of informing the
public of the application for an Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development Grant to
improve McKinley Park. The OSLAD Program is a state-financed grant program that provides
funding assistance to local government agencies for acquisition and/or development of land for
public parks and open space and is managed by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
The plans for future renovation will be discussed. The public will be invited to share their
feedback and ideas for the park.
